Job Title: Bartender

Location: Manteca, CA

Job Summary: The bartender is responsible for crafting and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves preparing drinks according to recipes, interacting with guests, and supporting overall restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and create a friendly and engaging environment at the bar.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on established recipes.
• Take and serve drink and/or food orders accurately and promptly.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools and equipment.
• Restock bar supplies, including liquor, garnishes, and other items, as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations as well as alcohol-serving laws.
• Manage cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate billing.
• Provide recommendations to guests regarding menu items or drink pairings.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties for the bar area.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a bartender is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of drink-mixing techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and managing tabs.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Certification in alcohol awareness or bartending is a bonus.

Work Environment: Involves standing for extended periods, working evenings, weekends, or holidays as required, and interacting with a diverse customer base.
